So you don’t just remember how your wedding looked. You remember how it felt.

An emotionally grounded approach to wedding photography
for couples who value presence and connection.
Idaho & beyond.

A Grounded Approach

Your wedding day isn’t just a series of events. It’s a lived experience. It moves quickly, it’s emotionally full, and it deserves to be felt, not rushed through.

I approach each wedding with intention and emotional awareness, paying close attention to timing, energy, and the natural flow of the day. I know when to offer gentle direction, when to hold space, and when to let a moment breathe without interference. By being attuned to the rhythm of your day, I help create an environment where you can stay present, connected, and grounded in what’s unfolding around you.

The result is more than beautiful images. It’s a collection of photographs that reflect how your day actually felt. Calm, meaningful, and deeply connected. So when you look back, you don’t just see what happened. You remember how it all felt.

  my promise to you

A Personalized Experience

Your relationship is not a template, and your wedding day is not a production. I take the time to understand your dynamic, your priorities, and what truly matters to you, so your photographs reflect your connection in a way that feels natural and honest. Nothing forced. Nothing performative. Just the way the day actually felt.

Presence Over Performance

I believe your wedding should be experienced, not managed for the camera. My approach is grounded in observation and gentle guidance, allowing moments to unfold while offering direction when it brings ease and clarity. The quiet hand squeezes, the shared glances, the laughter and emotion that surface when you are fully present. Those are the moments I watch for.

A Calm, Experienced Presence

With years of experience and a deep understanding of how a wedding day flows, I bring a steady, thoughtful presence to every part of it. I pay attention to timing, energy, and emotional pacing so you can stay grounded and connected, knowing every meaningful moment is being documented with care and intention.

Liz, we’re seriously in love! It’s been so much fun to just relive the day and all of the memories…so much emotion in every photo. Thank you so much for being a part of this with us. Couldn’t love them more!!! I feel bad for everyone who follows me because I’m going to be spamming these photos for the rest of all time!!!!

From Liz

Liz Ruth

HI, I’M LIZ!

I care deeply about how a wedding day actually feels while it’s happening. Not just how it looks in photos, but how present you are, how supported you feel, and whether you get to experience the day instead of rushing through it.

Weddings move quickly and they carry a lot of emotion. My role is to be a steady, grounding presence in the middle of all of it. I pay attention to the pace of the day, the energy in the room, and the moments that matter most to you. I know when to step in with gentle direction, and when to step back and let something unfold without interruption.

Many couples worry about feeling awkward in front of the camera, or about their day turning into a series of poses and timelines instead of a meaningful experience. I approach each wedding with calm intention and emotional awareness so you can feel at ease, stay connected, and trust that nothing important is being missed.

What you receive are not just photographs, but a record of how your day actually felt. The connection, the emotion, the atmosphere, and the moments that mattered. Images that bring you back in a way that feels honest, grounded, and true to you.
